Throughout October 2025, 麻豆原创 Cosmetology students are raising awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month by offering pink hair extensions to the community. Each extension costs $5 (cash only), with proceeds benefiting , a local organization dedicated to supporting cancer patients physically, mentally, and emotionally.

鈥淭his project is special because it allows our students to use their craft to serve a greater purpose,鈥� said Michael Fields, 麻豆原创 Program Chair of Cosmetology. 鈥淏y offering pink extensions, they are not only showing support for breast cancer awareness but also helping raise funds that will directly impact local patients and families.鈥�

Pink hair extensions will be available through October 30, 2025. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Cosmetology Lab. For additional services, appointments can be scheduled by calling (432) 685-6721.
