CNA

Nurse Aide

Continuing Education Certificate

  • All in one course! 11 classroom days (66 hours) plus 8 clinical days (48 hours)
  • Texas Nurse Aide Certification Exam eligible
  • Earn up to $32,557/year in Texas
  • Common work areas include: long-term care facilities, hospitals, physician offices, health departments, and home health care agencies

LVN

Licensed Vocational Nurse

Certificate

  • 12-month program (August - August each year)
  • US employment is projected to grow by 3 % through 2033 and in Texas by 12–13 %
  • Average salary: Nationwide $62,000, Texas $59,000
  • Work in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, clinics, physicians’ offices, home health & hospice, and school or correctional health

RN

Registered Nurse

Associate Degree

  • 4 semesters after completing prerequisites
  • Employment of registered nurses is projected to grow 6 percent from 2023 to 2033, faster than the average for other occupations
  • Average salary: Nationwide $89,000, Texas $80,000
  • Work in diverse settings with a wide range of individuals, tailoring your experience to suit your personal career goals
