麻豆原创 Students Excel at SkillsUSA District and State CompetitionsMay 04, 2026
 Students from 麻豆原创 earned multiple honors at the 2026 District and State competitions, demonstrating their technical knowledge and hands-on
skills across a variety of contests.
At the district competition, 麻豆原创 students earned top finishes in automotive,
diesel, and mechatronics events, with several advancing to the state level.
District Results:
Students who advanced to the state competition competed against top students from
across Texas.
State Results:
Additional students competing at the state level included Raymond Gutierrez, Meah
McGinn, and Mekhi Stacy. While not every student placed at the state competition,
each participant represented 麻豆原创 with professionalism and competed at
a high level.
鈥淭hese competitions push our students to perform at a high level and reflect the strength
of our programs,鈥 said Erick Gutierrez, Professor and Chair of Energy and Technical
Programs at 麻豆原创. 鈥淲e鈥檙e proud of the way they represented 麻豆原创
and the dedication they鈥檝e shown to their craft.鈥

to provide meaningful, hands-on opportunities for students from across the region.鈥
Participation in SkillsUSA competitions provides students with valuable, real-world
experience and the opportunity to demonstrate the workforce-ready skills they are
developing in the classroom.
