students in its , have earned early admission to the at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth.
The early acceptance of these three students represents a significant milestone and
reflects the strength of 麻豆原创鈥檚 partnership with the and . Through this collaboration, 麻豆原创 provides a structured, supportive pathway
for students pursuing careers in medicine.
The Primary Care Pathway Program is an accelerated medical education pathway that
allows highly motivated students to complete their training through a 鈥2-plus-1-plus-4鈥
model: two years at 麻豆原创, one year at the University of North Texas in
Denton, and four years at TCOM. Students who meet program requirements may apply for
Early Acceptance Notification during their second year at 麻豆原创 and are
not required to take the 麻豆原创AT as part of the early admission process.

PCPP students engage in a competitive and comprehensive curriculum that includes two
summer internships and opportunities for interdisciplinary learning, such as hands-on
sonography training and life鈥憇aving CPR/AED certification.
The program also emphasizes community engagement and clinical experience to prepare
students for the real鈥憌orld challenges of healthcare delivery.鈥疶he program is designed
to reduce financial, academic, and systemic barriers while maintaining high standards
of academic excellence.
TCOM is nationally recognized for its focus on osteopathic medicine and primary care,
with a mission that closely aligns with 麻豆原创鈥檚 goal of addressing physician
shortages in West Texas and underserved communities across the state.
