ΒιΆΉΤ­΄΄ will bring more than 70 colleges, universities and military branches under one roof on Wednesday, Sept. 30, giving students and families from across the community an opportunity to explore what comes after high school.

The annual (TACRAO) College Night will be held from 6–8 p.m. at the Al G. Langford Chaparral Center on the ΒιΆΉΤ­΄΄ campus. The event is free and open to the community. Students and families are encouraged to register in advance at

College Night gives students the opportunity to have face-to-face conversations with representatives from institutions across Texas and beyond, learn about academic programs and admissions requirements, and compare the many pathways available after graduation. Representatives from military branches will also be available to speak with students interested in exploring military service.

β€œAccess begins with making sure students know what opportunities are available to them and have the information they need to make confident decisions about their futures,” said Joseph Granado, ΒιΆΉΤ­΄΄ vice president of Student Services. β€œCollege Night is a great example of what can happen when we work together to put students first. For one evening, we can bring dozens of opportunities directly to students and families from throughout our community and help make that next step feel a little more attainable.”

Students of all ages who are beginning to consider their postsecondary plans are welcome, and parents and guardians are encouraged to attend alongside them. Families can ask questions about admissions, programs, campus life and other aspects of the college search while exploring multiple options in one evening.

For ΒιΆΉΤ­΄΄, hosting College Night is also an opportunity to collaborate with schools and educational institutions to help students successfully navigate the transition from high school to their next step.

β€œChoosing what comes after high school can feel overwhelming, especially when students are trying to compare so many different possibilities,” said Megan Brincks, Midland College Dean of Outreach & Student Aid. β€œCollege Night gives them a chance to ask questions, make connections and discover opportunities they might not have considered before. Whether a student leaves excited about ΒιΆΉΤ­΄΄, another university or a completely different path, we want them to leave feeling more informed and more confident about what comes next.”

By bringing representatives and resources together in one location, ΒιΆΉΤ­΄΄ continues its commitment to expanding access to educational opportunities, supporting student success and working collaboratively to strengthen pathways for students throughout the region.
