Nereida earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas, and a Master of Education in Student Development and Leadership in Higher Education from Angelo State University. She loves the one-on-one interactions with students and helping student plan their academic goals. Her favorite ice cream is Butter Pecan.  

Her advice to new students is to get involved and don鈥檛 be afraid to challenge yourself.
